A Review of The Green Company Laundry Sheets
For years now I have been overhauling my home and lifestyle, I still have a way to go. Some decisions are easy:
- Reduce waste
- Choose ethical products
- Recycle better
- Avoid fast fashion/plastic/unnecessary travel
Some decisions are less easy:
- Research the businesses you choose, how and where do they invest? Vote with your feet
- Create a wildlife friendly environment
- Make lifestyle choices to become more environmentally friendly
- Invest in a greener future
Daily household choices come under the ‘easy’ category. We have unbleached, bamboo loo rolls, environmentally friendly cleaning products, plastic free dog poo bags, toothpaste tabs (every tube of toothpaste you ever used, STILL EXISTS).
When The Green Company reached out to ask me to try their laundry products, I was very happy to give them a go. Arriving back from a holiday with a few loads of washing, I was excited to find our new boxes of laundry sheets and fabric conditioner sheets waiting, in their environmentally friendly packaging. For transparency, The Green Company had the confidence to ask me to review their products, without knowing if I would like them, they sent them for free…Win-win, I LOVE them!
I live in an area with very hard water so I used the recommended two sheets per load. You just add them to the dirty clothes in the drum and shut the door. You can choose fragranced or non-fragranced, but whatever your choice, these are:
- Eco-friendly
- Cruelty free
- Plastic free

They cost is £8.36 per month if you subscribe for a 64 load box, 128 load box is also an option. For comparison, at the time of writing, a 63 wash plastic carton of Fairy liquid detergent is £11.50 at Tesco.
I am a convert! My laundry, and my conscience, is clean and fresh! Thank you The Green Company & BRAVO for making the laundry world a better place.
